Ingredients

  • 2 cups of water

Preparation

  1. Place a pot on medium heat and add one cup of water.
  2. Add two tablespoons of fenugreek seeds into the pot and stir to mix.
  3. Allow the mixture to come to a boil, then lower the heat to very low.
  4. Let it simmer gently for about seven minutes until the water turns yellow.
  5. Add two cups of milk to the mixture while continuing to stir occasionally.
  6. Add two tablespoons of sugar for each cup of milk, or adjust to your taste.
  7. Once the milk starts boiling again, reduce the heat to low and stir frequently for five minutes.
  8. When the milk has absorbed the yellow color from the fenugreek, turn off the heat.
  9. Pour the mixture into cups without straining, or strain if preferred.
